All Melburnians are invited to Federation Square on Sat 29th March at 6pm to be part of Earth Hour's global campaign to tackle climate change.
Join over 26 official cities and hundreds of supporting cities and towns in switching off their lights between 8-9pm.
Live entertainment will be hosted by Melissa and Matt Heatherington which includes:
- Richard Gill (Music Director for the Victorian State Opera) who will lead a community based performance
- Megan Washington Project Feat Paul Grabowsky
- Alana Scanlan Dance Production: a contemporary dance production with fire
- Award winning break dancers, Wicked Force
- Rapper Phrase, Michael Paynter and
- a hot new act from Tasmania, Bridget Pross.
AND ALSO:
** See the world in a whole new light with several telescopes to be provided by the Astronomical Society for Victoria for star gazing on the night.
Following this great line up will be a "Green Screen" at Fed Square showing a range of documentaries late into the night
